Cauliflower and Broccoli Gratin
A simple and comforting vegetarian gratin combining cauliflower and broccoli baked in a basic béchamel sauce. Perfect for a weeknight dinner.

Ingredients
- 300 g Cauliflower
- 300 g Broccoli
- 30 g Butter
- 30 g Flour
- 400 ml Milk
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Cut the cauliflower and broccoli into small florets. Blanch them for 5 minutes in a pot of salted boiling water.

Drain the vegetables and arrange them in a baking dish.
Step 4
Prepare the béchamel: melt the butter, add the flour, stir for 1 minute, then gradually pour in the milk while stirring to avoid lumps.
Step 5
Season the béchamel with salt and pepper, then pour over the vegetables.

Bake for 20 minutes until the top is golden.
