Broccoli and Spinach Gratin with Cheese
A comforting gratin with two green vegetables, ham, and a rich sauce made with Gruyère and Parmesan. Perfect as a side dish or main course.
Ingredients
- 300 g Broccoli
- 200 g Spinach
- 100 g Ham
- 100 g Gruyère
- 50 g Parmesan
- 40 g Butter
- 30 g Flour
- 250 ml Water
- à volonté Salt
- à volonté Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Step 2
Cut the broccoli into small florets and cook in salted boiling water for 8 minutes. Drain.
Step 3
Sauté the spinach in a pan with a bit of butter for 3 minutes, then drain and dice the ham.
Step 4
Make a béchamel sauce: melt the butter, add the flour, stir for 1 minute, then gradually pour in the water while whisking.
Step 5
Add the grated Gruyère and Parmesan to the béchamel, season with salt and pepper.
Step 6
Place the broccoli, spinach, and ham in a dish and pour the sauce over the top.
Step 7
Bake for 12-15 minutes until the gratin is golden.
