Broccoli and Cauliflower Cheese Gratin
A comforting French gratin with broccoli, cauliflower and a creamy sauce made with Gruyère and Parmesan cheese.

Ingredients
- 300 g Broccoli
- 300 g Cauliflower
- 100 g Gruyère
- 50 g Parmesan
- 30 g Butter
- 2 tbsp Flour
- 300 ml Milk
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Step 2
Cut the broccoli and cauliflower into small florets and cook in salted boiling water for 8-10 minutes.
Step 3
Prepare a béchamel sauce: melt the butter in a pan, add the flour and stir for 1 minute, then gradually pour in the milk while whisking.
Step 4
Add the grated Gruyère to the béchamel, season with salt and pepper. Let simmer for 2 minutes.
Step 5
Drain the vegetables and pour them into a baking dish.
Step 6
Pour the béchamel sauce over the vegetables, sprinkle with Parmesan and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden.
