Broccoli and Carrot Gratin with Gruyère
A classic French comfort gratin with melted cheese and roasted vegetables. Perfect for a simple evening meal.

Ingredients
- 250 g Broccoli
- 200 g Carrot
- 100 g Gruyère
- 30 g Butter
- 200 ml Water
- 5 g Salt
- 2 g Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C

Cut the broccoli into florets and slice the carrots into rounds
Step 3
Blanch the vegetables for 5 minutes in boiling salted water, then drain
Step 4
Arrange the vegetables in an oven-safe dish and pour in a little water
Step 5
Grate the Gruyère and sprinkle it over the vegetables, dot with butter
Step 6
Bake for 12-15 minutes until the cheese is golden brown
