Chocolate and Pear Cake
A tender chocolate cake topped with soft pears. Perfect for an afternoon snack, baked in the oven in less than 30 minutes.

Ingredients
- 120 g Flour
- 80 g Sugar
- 60 g Chocolate
- 100 ml Milk
- 50 g Butter
- 2 piece Egg
- 2 piece Pear
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 1 pinch Salt
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 180°C. Butter a round baking pan.
Step 2
Melt chocolate and butter together in the microwave or double boiler.
Step 3
Mix sugar and eggs, then add the chocolate-butter mixture.
Step 4
Gently fold in flour, baking powder and salt, then milk.
Step 5
Pour batter into the pan. Arrange peeled and sliced pears on top.
Step 6
Bake for 25 minutes until a knife inserted comes out slightly moist.
