Crispy Potato and Cheese Cakes
Homemade crispy cakes made with potatoes, grated carrots, and melted cheese. A comforting and indulgent dish, perfect for weeknight dinners with a salad.

- 500 g Potatoes
- 150 g Carrots
- 100 g Fresh spinach
- 150 g Grated cheese
- 2 piece Egg
- 4 tbsp Flour
- 0.5 piece Onion
- 4 tbsp Sunflower oil
- à volonté g Salt
- à volonté g Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Peel and grate the potatoes and carrots. Finely chop the onion and spinach.
Step 2
Squeeze the grated potatoes with a clean cloth to remove as much liquid as possible.
Step 3
In a bowl, combine the potatoes, carrots, onion, spinach, cheese, eggs, and flour. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 4
Heat the oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Step 5
Form cakes from the mixture and cook for 8 minutes on each side until golden and crispy.
