Lentil and Apple Dhal with Sweet and Savory Notes

Ingredients
- 250 g Lentils
- 2 piece Apples
- 2 piece Carrots
- 100 g Spinach
- 600 ml Water
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- à volonté g Salt
- à volonté g Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Peel and dice the carrots into small cubes, then peel and chop the apples into cubes.
Step 2
Heat the oil in a pot and sauté the carrots for 2 minutes.
Step 3
Add the lentils, apples, and water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 15 minutes.
Step 4
Add the spinach and continue cooking for 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 5
Serve hot as a main course or side dish.
