Thai Banana and Ham Curry with Coconut Milk
A flavorful Asian curry combining caramelized bananas, ham, and a creamy coconut sauce infused with aromatic spices. Served over white rice for an exotic experience.

Ingredients
- 4 piece bananas
- 250 g ham
- 400 ml coconut milk
- 30 g red curry paste
- 2 piece shallots
- 3 clove garlic
- 15 ml soy sauce
- 30 ml oil
- 2 g salt
- 1 pinch pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Peel and cut the bananas into large chunks.
Step 2
Cut the ham into cubes and slice the shallots thinly.
Step 3
Crush the garlic with the flat side of a knife.
Step 4
Heat the oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
Step 5
Add the curry paste and cook for 2 minutes.
Step 6
Add the shallots and garlic, and let them brown for 3 minutes.
Step 7
Gradually pour in the coconut milk while stirring well.
Step 8
Add the ham and bananas, and simmer for 10 minutes.
Step 9
Finish with soy sauce, salt, and pepper to taste.
