Ground Meat Curry with Rice
A simple and flavorful Indian curry with ground meat, tomatoes, and a hint of spices. Served with plain rice.

Ingredients
- 400 g Ground meat
- 300 g Tomatoes
- 250 g Raw rice
- 1 piece Onion
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 500 ml Water
- 1.5 tsp Curry powder
- 100 ml Coconut milk
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Cook the rice in 500 ml of salted water for 20 minutes covered. Set aside.
Step 2
Meanwhile, dice the onion and chop the tomatoes into chunks.
Step 3
Heat the oil in a skillet and sauté the onion for 2 minutes.
Step 4
Add the ground meat and cook for 5 minutes, crumbling well until browned.
Step 5
Add the curry powder and cook for 1 minute while stirring well.
Step 6
Add the tomatoes and coconut milk. Cook for 8 minutes over medium heat, stirring regularly.
Step 7
Season with salt and pepper. Serve the curry hot over the rice.
