Chicken Curry with Onions and Tomato
A rich and flavorful curry with chicken thighs, tomato, onion, and a touch of cream. Serve with rice or noodles.

Ingredients
- 800 g Chicken thighs
- 200 ml Sour cream
- 250 g Rice
- 2 units Onion
- 400 g Canned crushed tomatoes
- 2 tsp Curry powder
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Cook the rice in a pot according to package instructions.
Step 2
Finely chop the onions. Heat olive oil in a pot and sauté the onions for 3 minutes.
Step 3
Add the chicken thighs with bones, brown them well on all sides for 5 minutes.
Step 4
Sprinkle curry powder, mix well, then add the crushed tomatoes.
Step 5
Cover and simmer for 20 minutes over medium heat. Add the sour cream in the last 5 minutes.
Step 6
Season with salt and pepper, and serve hot with rice.
