Sri Lankan Fish Curry
An authentic Sri Lankan curry made with white fish, toasted spices, and coconut milk for a rich and complex flavor.

Ingredients
- 600 g White fish
- 400 ml Coconut milk
- 2 piece Red onion
- 3 clove Garlic
- 1 tbsp Fresh ginger
- 1 piece Red chili
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1 tsp Mustard seeds
- 8 piece Curry leaves
- 1 lime Lime juice
- 2 tbsp Coconut oil
- 1 tsp Salt
Instructions
Step 1
Heat the oil and add the cumin and mustard seeds, let them crackle for 1 minute.
Step 2
Add the curry leaves, onion, garlic, and ginger, cook for 3 minutes.
Step 3
Sprinkle turmeric and add the chopped red chili, cook for 1 minute.
Step 4
Pour in the coconut milk and bring to a boil.
Step 5
Add the fish cut into pieces and cook for 12-15 minutes until opaque.
Step 6
Finish with lime juice and seasoning.
