Curried Pears and Apples with Almonds
An original sweet dish: caramelized fruit in a curry-coconut milk sauce with toasted almonds. Exotic and comforting.

Ingredients
- 2 piece Apple
- 2 piece Pear
- 200 ml Coconut milk
- 15 g Curry powder
- 80 g Sliced almonds
- 30 g Sugar
- 30 g Butter
- 1 pinch Salt
Instructions
Step 1
Peel and cut apples and pears into cubes.
Step 2
Toast the almonds dry in a skillet for 2-3 minutes, then set aside.
Step 3
Melt the butter and sugar in a skillet until lightly caramelized.
Step 4
Add the curry powder, stir for 1 minute to infuse the flavor.
Step 5
Add the fruit and cook for 5 minutes.
Step 6
Pour in the coconut milk, season with salt and simmer for 8 minutes until thickened.
Step 7
Serve hot, topped with toasted almonds.
