Red Lentil Curry with Asian Flavors
A flavorful and fragrant curry with red lentils, rich coconut milk, and Asian spices. Served over rice, it's a classic everyday dish.

Ingredients
- 200 g Red lentils
- 400 ml Coconut milk
- 2 piece Onions
- 2 clove Garlic
- 1 tbsp Fresh ginger
- 2 tbsp Curry powder
- 300 ml Water
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Mince the onions and finely chop the garlic and ginger.
Step 2
Heat the oil in the pan and sauté the onions, garlic, and ginger for 3 minutes.
Step 3
Add the curry powder and stir well for 1 minute.
Step 4
Pour in the water and coconut milk, then add the red lentils.
Step 5
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes until the lentils are cooked.
Step 6
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve with white or basmati rice.
