Indian-Style Lentil Curry
A savory and comforting curry with lentils, potatoes and authentic Indian spices. Serve with rice or bread.

Ingredients
- 150 g dry lentils
- 400 g potatoes
- 1 piece onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tbsp curry powder
- 200 ml coconut milk
- 500 ml water
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 pinch salt
Instructions
Step 1
Peel and finely mince the onions and garlic.
Step 2
Peel and cut the potatoes into cubes.
Step 3
Heat the oil in a pot and cook the onion and garlic for 2 minutes.
Step 4
Add the curry powder and cook for 1 minute.
Step 5
Add the lentils, potatoes, water and coconut milk. Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer for 25 minutes.
Step 6
Season with salt and serve hot.
