Potato, Ham, and Cheese Croquettes
Golden and crispy croquettes made with potatoes, ham, and cheese. A comforting classic to serve as an appetizer or main course.

Ingredients
- 600 g Potatoes
- 150 g Ham
- 80 g Gruyere flakes
- 2 piece Egg
- 100 g Flour
- 100 g Breadcrumbs
- 500 ml Frying oil
- à volonté to taste Salt
- à volonté to taste Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Cook the peeled potatoes in salted water for 15 minutes until tender, then drain well.
Step 2
Mash the warm potatoes, transfer to a bowl with the diced ham and cheese.
Step 3
Mix thoroughly to get a homogeneous paste, season with salt and pepper. Chill in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
Step 4
Form croquettes (about 8), then coat with flour, beaten egg, and breadcrumbs.
Step 5
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the croquettes for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
