Gourmet Croque-Monsieur
A French twist on a classic with melted chocolate and grated Gruyère between two slices of golden bread. Simple, quick, and delicious.

Ingredients
- 4 slices Bread
- 4 slices Ham
- 80 g Gruyère
- 30 g Chocolate
- 30 g Butter
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Grate the Gruyère and break the chocolate into small pieces.
Step 2
Assemble the sandwiches: bread, ham, Gruyère, chocolate, ham, bread.
Step 3
Generously butter the outside of both bread slices.
Step 4
Cook in a skillet over medium-low heat for 4-5 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
