Baked Shell Pasta with Ham
A rich and comforting baked pasta dish with shell pasta, ham, and melted cheese. A French classic that delights the whole family.

Ingredients
- 300 g Shell pasta
- 150 g Ham
- 30 g Butter
- 2 tbsp Flour
- 300 ml Milk
- 80 g Shredded cheese
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Cook the shell pasta in salted water according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
Step 2
Make a roux: melt the butter in a pot, add the flour while stirring constantly for 1 minute.
Step 3
Gradually pour in the milk while stirring to avoid lumps. Cook until the sauce is smooth.
Step 4
Add the shredded cheese to the béchamel sauce, mix well, and season with salt and pepper.
Step 5
Dice the ham and combine with the pasta and béchamel sauce in a baking dish.
Step 6
Bake in a preheated 180°C oven for 15 minutes until the top is golden brown.
