Apple and Red Lentil Compote Dessert
A sweet and original dessert combining cooked apples with a touch of red lentils for texture. Served warm or cold with a drizzle of honey.

Ingredients
- 6 piece Apples
- 100 g Red lentils
- 300 ml Water
- 3 tbsp Honey
- 1 tsp Ground cinnamon
- 0.5 tsp Vanilla
Instructions
Step 1
Peel the apples and cut into quarters, remove the seeds.
Step 2
Put the rinsed red lentils in a pot with water and bring to a boil.
Step 3
Let the lentils cook for 10 minutes, then add the apple quarters.
Step 4
Cook together for 8-10 minutes until apples and lentils are very tender.
Step 5
Blend the mixture to get a smooth compote. Add honey, cinnamon and vanilla.
Step 6
Let cool slightly or serve warm according to preference.
