Apple-Chocolate Clafoutis
A generous clafoutis combining tender apples and chocolate chips, with a light and fluffy batter. A classic French indulgence.

Ingredients
- 3 pieces Apple
- 120 g Flour
- 250 ml Milk
- 80 g Sugar
- 80 g Chocolate
- 40 g Butter
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pod Vanilla
- 20 g Powdered sugar
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 190°C. Peel and slice the apples into thin slices.
Step 2
Mix flour, sugar, and salt. Create a well and gradually whisk in the milk.
Step 3
Split the vanilla pod in half, scrape out the seeds, and add them to the batter along with the melted butter.
Step 4
Arrange the apples and chocolate chips in a buttered baking dish. Pour the batter over top.
Step 5
Bake for 40 minutes until golden. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Step 6
Let cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
