Hawaiian-Style Churros with Red Berries
Fried choux pastry served hot with red berry sauce and cinnamon sugar. A delectable dessert inspired by modern Hawaiian gastronomy.

Ingredients
- 120 g Wheat flour
- 250 ml Water
- 50 g Butter
- 3 g Salt
- 60 g White sugar
- 5 g Cinnamon
- 250 g Fresh red berries
- 30 ml Honey
- 500 ml Frying oil
- 10 ml Lemon juice
Instructions
Step 1
Bring water and butter to a boil in a saucepan.
Step 2
Remove from heat and stir in flour and salt.
Step 3
Mix until smooth and well combined.
Step 4
Heat oil to 170°C.
Step 5
Transfer batter to piping bag and pipe churro shapes.
Step 6
Fry churros 2-3 minutes per side.
Step 7
Drain and coat with cinnamon sugar.
Step 8
Prepare sauce: red berries, honey, and lemon juice.
Step 9
Serve hot churros with sauce.
