Spiced Hot Chocolate with Caramelized Potato Chips and Roasted Cauliflower Croutons
An innovative dessert: rich and velvety hot chocolate served with caramelized potato chips and sweet roasted cauliflower florets. A harmonious blend of sweet, salty, and spiced flavors.
Ingredients
- 200 g 72% Dark Chocolate
- 500 ml Coconut Milk
- 250 g Potato
- 300 g Cauliflower
- 40 g Brown Sugar
- 60 ml Olive Oil
- 5 g Cinnamon
- 3 g Ground Ginger
- 3 g Sea Salt
- 30 g Honey
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Slice the potatoes into very thin sheets using a knife or mandoline.
Step 2
Brush the potato slices with olive oil, sprinkle with brown sugar and salt. Spread on a baking sheet and roast for 15 minutes until golden.
Step 3
Cut the cauliflower into small florets. Brush with olive oil, sprinkle with cinnamon and honey. Roast for 15 minutes.
Step 4
Gently heat the coconut milk in a saucepan without boiling.
Step 5
Break the chocolate into pieces and melt it in the hot coconut milk, stirring constantly with a whisk.
Step 6
Stir in the ground ginger and a drizzle of honey to the melted chocolate.
Step 7
Pour the hot chocolate into cups. Arrange the potato chips and caramelized cauliflower florets on top or on the side as an accompaniment.
