Hot Chocolate with Orange and Crispy Quinoa
A rich French-inspired hot chocolate with orange notes, accompanied by toasted quinoa for surprising texture and crunch.

Ingredients
- 200 g chocolate
- 600 ml coconut milk
- 2 piece oranges
- 100 g quinoa
- 20 g butter
- 30 g sugar
- 200 ml water
Instructions
Step 1
Toast the quinoa in a dry skillet for 5 minutes, stirring regularly. Set aside.
Step 2
Squeeze the juice from the oranges and zest one orange to get the zest.
Step 3
Break the chocolate into pieces and melt in a saucepan with the butter.
Step 4
Add the coconut milk, water, orange juice and sugar. Bring to a boil then let simmer for 3 minutes.
Step 5
Pour the hot chocolate into cups, garnish with toasted quinoa and orange zest. Serve immediately.
