Portuguese Fish Stew with Peppers
A Portuguese fish stew featuring sea bream, mixed peppers, and onions in a tomato-based broth flavored with bay leaf and sweet paprika.

Ingredients
- 350 g sea bream fillet
- 2 piece mixed peppers
- 1 piece onion
- 300 g crushed tomatoes
- 1 tsp sweet paprika
- 2 piece bay leaf
Instructions
Step 1
Cut the peppers into strips and slice the onion. Cut the sea bream into large chunks.
Step 2
Sauté the onion and peppers in a Dutch oven with a drizzle of oil for 5 minutes.
Step 3
Add the tomatoes, sweet paprika, bay leaf, and 200 ml of water. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Step 4
Place the sea bream chunks in the broth, cover, and cook for 8 minutes over low heat. Remove the bay leaf and serve.
