Chocolate Brownies with Lentil Center
Rich and indulgent brownies with a surprise lentil layer that adds moisture and nutrition. An original and delicious dessert.

Ingredients
- 200 g Dark chocolate
- 150 g Cooked red lentils
- 100 g Butter
- 150 g Sugar
- 2 pieces Eggs
- 80 g Flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 1 pinch Salt
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C and butter a square baking pan.
Step 2
Melt the chocolate and butter together in a double boiler or with a mixer.
Step 3
Mix the sugar and eggs in a bowl, then add the melted chocolate.
Step 4
Blend the cooked lentils into a smooth puree and fold into the mixture.
Step 5
Sift together the flour and baking powder, add to the mixture with a pinch of salt.
Step 6
Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 20-25 minutes (the center should remain slightly fudgy).
Step 7
Let cool for 10 minutes in the pan before cutting into squares.
