Chocolate Brownies
Ultra fudgy American-style brownies loaded with chocolate chips, featuring a melting chocolate center and crispy edges.
Ingredients
- 200 g Dark chocolate
- 150 g Butter
- 3 piece Eggs
- 150 g Sugar
- 100 g Flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 0.5 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 100 g Chocolate chips
- 1 tbsp Sunflower oil
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease a 20x20cm square baking pan with oil. Line with parchment paper.
Step 2
Break the chocolate into pieces. Melt with butter in a double boiler, stirring regularly.
Step 3
Beat eggs with sugar until pale and fluffy. Add vanilla.
Step 4
Pour melted chocolate over beaten eggs. Mix gently.
Step 5
Combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Fold into chocolate mixture. Stir in chocolate chips.
Step 6
Pour batter into pan. Bake 23-25 minutes: the center should remain slightly fudgy.
Step 7
Cool completely before cutting into squares. Serve at room temperature.
