Roasted Broccoli with Crispy Halloumi and Lemon
Broccoli florets roasted at high temperature with crispy halloumi, finished with a squeeze of lemon and Espelette pepper. A reimagined Basque classic, simple yet addictive.

Ingredients
- 300 g Broccoli
- 200 g Halloumi
- 1 piece Lemon
- 0.5 tsp Espelette pepper
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 220°C. Cut the broccoli into florets and the halloumi into 2 cm cubes.
Step 2
Toss the broccoli and halloumi with olive oil and Espelette pepper on a baking sheet.
Step 3
Roast for 18 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the halloumi is golden brown.
Step 4
Squeeze the lemon over the dish as it comes out of the oven and serve immediately.
