Japanese-Style Bowl with Silky Tofu and Zucchini
A zen-inspired Japanese bowl featuring pan-seared silky tofu over zucchini noodles, topped with sesame seeds and a light miso sauce. A harmonious blend of delicate and umami flavors.
Ingredients
- 300 g Firm tofu
- 2 pieces Zucchini
- 1 tbsp White miso
- 2 tbsp Sesame seeds
- 80 g Fresh spinach
- 1 tbsp Sesame oil
Instructions
Step 1
Cut the tofu into thick slices and pat dry. Spiralize the zucchini into noodles using a spiralizer or vegetable peeler.
Step 2
Heat the sesame oil in a skillet and sear the tofu for 3 minutes on each side over high heat until golden.
Step 3
Stir-fry the zucchini noodles and spinach in the skillet for 2 minutes. Dilute the miso in 2 tbsp of warm water and pour over the vegetables.
Step 4
Divide the zucchini noodles between two bowls, top with the golden tofu, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and serve.
