Meatballs in Tomato Sauce with Pasta
Tender ground meat meatballs simmered in a rich tomato sauce, served with pasta. A revisited Sunday classic.

Ingredients
- 400 g Ground meat
- 400 g Canned tomatoes
- 300 g Pasta
- 1 Eggs
- 3 tbsp Flour
- 50 g Breadcrumbs
- 3 tbsp Oil
- 2 clove Garlic
- 1 Onion
- 1 tsp Herbes de Provence
- à volonté Salt
- à volonté Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare the meatballs: mix the meat, egg, breadcrumbs, salt and pepper. Form 12-16 meatballs.
Step 2
Cook the pasta in salted water according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
Step 3
Heat the oil in the pan, then brown the meatballs for 5-6 minutes. Set aside.
Step 4
In the same pan, add the minced garlic and onion, then the tomatoes and herbs. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Step 5
Return the meatballs to the sauce, add the pasta and mix well. Serve hot.
