Asian Sweet and Savory Bowl: Quinoa, Kiwis, Ham and Miso-Mustard Sauce
A colorful Asian fusion bowl combining quinoa with fresh kiwis, grilled ham slices, and miso-mustard sauce for a perfect balance of flavor and texture.
Ingredients
- 150 g Quinoa
- 4 pieces Kiwis
- 150 g Ham
- 0.5 head Broccoli
- 2 medium Carrots
- 60 g Peanuts
- 2 tbsp White miso
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp Sesame oil
- 3 tbsp Olive oil
- 300 ml Water
- 1 tbsp Rice vinegar
- 0.5 tsp Salt
- 0.25 tsp Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the quinoa and cook in 300ml of boiling water for 15 minutes. Let rest for 5 minutes off the heat.
Step 2
Cut broccoli into florets and carrots into julienne. Cook for 5 minutes in a pan with olive oil.
Step 3
Grill the ham slices in a pan for 2-3 minutes on each side. Dice into cubes.
Step 4
Prepare the sauce: mix the miso, mustard, sesame oil, vinegar, and 3 tablespoons of water.
Step 5
Peel and slice the kiwis into rounds.
Step 6
Assemble the bowls: base of quinoa, roasted vegetables, ham, kiwis, and crushed peanuts.
Step 7
Pour the miso-mustard sauce over each bowl and serve immediately.
