Cuban Seafood Rice
Flavorful rice cooked with shrimp, mussels, and white fish in a rich spiced broth. The essence of Cuban coastal cuisine.

Ingredients
- 300 g shrimp
- 250 g mussels
- 250 g white fish
- 350 g white rice
- 1 piece white onion
- 4 clove garlic
- 1 piece red bell pepper
- 150 g tomato
- 1 g saffron
- 800 ml fish stock
- 100 ml dry white wine
- 5 g salt and pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Slice the onion, mince the garlic, and chop the bell pepper. Cut the white fish into cubes.
Step 2
Sauté the onion, garlic, and bell pepper in a pan for 3 minutes.
Step 3
Add the rice and stir for 2 minutes to lightly toast it.
Step 4
Pour in the white wine and let it reduce for 1 minute.
Step 5
Add the fish stock with dissolved saffron and bring to a boil.
Step 6
Arrange the shrimp, mussels, and fish on top of the rice, cover, and cook for 20 minutes.
Step 7
Let rest covered for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper before serving.
